Below you will find all information relating to our returns and exchanges policy.

  • To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

    1. Items must be unused, free from marks, and returned with all original tags attached.

    2. Items must be returned within 28 days of purchase.

    3. Returns must comply with our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

    4. Customers are responsible for return postage costs. Where an exchange is approved, the replacement item will be re-shipped free of charge.

    5. Please include your order slip within your return parcel. If this is unavailable, include a note stating your order number and full name.

    6. For returns from the EU, any taxes or duties incurred will be deducted from your refund. Please clearly mark the outside of your parcel with:
      “Taxes and Duties are paid.”

    7. Items must have been purchased directly from www.avalancheequestrian.co.uk or from an Avalanche Equestrian pop-up store. Items purchased from third-party stockists must be returned to the original retailer.

  • Returns – Key Information

    • Items purchased within the last 28 days are eligible for return.

    • Returned items must be sent back to us within 14 days of submitting an online return request. Returns received outside this timeframe may be cancelled.

    • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and returned with all original tags attached.

    • Customers are responsible for all return postage costs, unless the item is confirmed to be faulty or damaged by Avalanche Equestrian Ltd.

    • Return postage costs are non-refundable.

    • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days of receipt and inspection of the returned item(s).

    • Avalanche Equestrian Ltd is not responsible for returned items until they arrive at our warehouse.

    • We strongly recommend using a tracked or signed-for delivery service and retaining proof of postage, as this is required in the event of a query or lost return.

    • We do not currently provide international return labels. International customers are responsible for arranging and paying for their return shipment, unless the item is confirmed to be faulty or damaged by Avalanche Equestrian Ltd.

    Product-Specific Return Conditions

    • Horse wear that has been used or tried on a horse is not eligible for return.

    • For hygiene reasons, the following items are non-returnable for refund or exchange:

      • headwear

      • socks

      • underwear

      Please check sizing carefully before purchasing which should be found in the description if not feel free to contact us

    • Gift vouchers are non-refundable. Please refer to our separate Gift Voucher Terms for further details.

    International Returns & Condition of Items

    • For international returns, any customs duties or taxes incurred will be deducted from your refund.

    • Returned items that are dirty, soiled, or not in acceptable condition may either be returned to the customer or a cleaning fee may be deducted from the refund.

    • We will only cover the cost of return postage where an item is confirmed to be faulty or damaged by Avalanche Equestrian Ltd.

  • Faulty or Damaged Items – Returns Policy

    If you believe you have received a faulty or damaged item, please follow our standard returns process and email info@avalancheequestrian.co.uk with clear photographs showing the fault or damage.

    All claims must include clear images of the issue so our returns team can assess the item. If your return is approved, you will receive a confirmation email along with a return shipping label. The item must then be securely packaged and returned to us in line with the instructions provided.

    Timeframes & Remedies

    (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

    • Refunds for confirmed faulty items are available within 28 days of receipt.

    • All faults must be reported within 50 days of purchase and will be assessed by Avalanche Equestrian Ltd.

    • Where a fault is confirmed after the 28-day refund period, we will offer either a replacement or a credit note, in accordance with your statutory rights.

    Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

    What Is Not Considered a Fault

    The following are not considered manufacturing faults and are therefore not eligible for a refund:

    • General wear and tear

    • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions

    • Damage caused by incorrect washing or drying

    • Friction or abrasion caused by Velcro, synthetic saddles, or other abrasive materials

    • Pilling or bobbling that occurs through normal use and does not affect product performance

    Damage resulting from wear, misuse, or incorrect care will not be classed as a fault and does not qualify for a refund.
